Welcome to Rosebrook
Who are we?
We’re a community of Christians and skeptics who haven’t figured it all out. All of us come with our own baggages and stories of brokenness. Yet, we’ve decided to go on a journey together to know Christ and experience the love, forgiveness, and healing that we have through his death and resurrection.
Where are we?
Although (downtown) Bethesda is known for its opulence, North Bethesda (and Rockville) is very diverse with many demarcations that often segregate the predominantly blue-collar, POC (people of color) neighborhoods from the upper middle class neighborhoods. Rockville Pike frequently serves as one such demarcation. As part of our commitment to the area, our name was inspired by two major local roads: Montrose Parkway and Twinbrook Parkway.
Looking beyond North Bethesda, we also hope to reach those who live near the Red Line (DC Metro) corridor all the way down to Northwest DC and American University. We plan on being conveniently located from White Flint, Twinbrook, or Grosvenor station.
Why this location?
Out of North Bethesda’s almost 47,000 residents, roughly 20% of the population profess faith in Christ (including both mainline and evangelical Protestants). That’s over 37,000 people right outside of DC who don’t know Christ or believe in the gospel. This area is ripe for more church plants and missional-minded Christians.
How can I learn more?
